Great conditions. The cross-country ski bus from vybuss.no runs on Saturdays to Bjøberg; book your ticket online.
Changed trail start at Tuv. Due to the construction project at Tuv, we have had to reroute the trail. Previously, it ran between the old tourist hotel and the river; now you must walk 50 meters up the road, enter by the white building, and continue past the barn where all the colorful chairs are located.
Flævasshytta is open in good weather
Remember that dogs must be on a leash starting April 1
Hemsedal offers one of Norway’s most varied networks of cross-country trails. Here you’ll find around 250 kilometers of groomed trails winding through the valley, up toward the mountains, and out into open expanses. You’ll find everything from peaceful forest hikes to longer mountain classics with views so stunning you’ll forget that you were supposed to turn back long ago.
The trails are groomed regularly throughout the winter, and the combination of high mountains, valley bottoms, and sheltered forest areas means you’ll always find a trip that suits the day’s weather and your current condition.
Refreshments are available along the trails at
- Flævasshytta by the Beihovd Trail is open on weekends, weather permitting. See Facebook for opening hours.
- Hemsedal Flatbread Bakery at Tuv by the Knuteløypa and Dalløypa trails
