Weather

Preview Friday, March 6. Skiing conditions are still good. Conditions for grooming have been good today, and as you can see from today's trail status, we have been able to groom a large part of the trail network. Unfortunately, it will start raining tonight, and the days ahead will bring above-freezing temperatures. In such conditions, we have to hold back on grooming, so tonight we will only be grooming the artificial snow arenas. Ungroomed trails are most challenging when the snow freezes after rain and mild weather, but now it looks like the temperature is going to stay above freezing. Hopefully, the trails we have prepared today will be in good condition tomorrow. On Saturday night, we plan to prepare the main trails to the sports cabins (as well as all the arenas). At Maridalsjordet, the snow is thin in places with some gravel showing through, but for now, it is still fine to ski here. Feel free to follow the Facebook groups "Skiføre i Oslo og omegn" and "Skiføre i Lillomarka" for the latest news about skiing conditions. We at the City Environment Agency wish you a great trip and a wonderful weekend.
